Dr. Noah C. Godwin completed his fellowship in Pain Management at Johns Hopkins Hospital. His practice focuses on the management of pain that is supported by scientific studies using the latest peer-reviewed research. This frequently leads to a recommendation for a multimodal approach, which entails using different types of therapies to address the pain from different directions. In addition to more effectively treating pain, this type of approach often reduces side effects.
Prior to his fellowship, Dr. Godwin completed a residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Miami’s Jackson Memorial Hospital. This experience proves invaluable when his patients are deemed to need sedation or general anesthesia.
He attended medical school at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He also studied Public Health at the University of Miami. During medical school, residency and fellowship, Dr. Godwin served in the Army National Guard.
